Michelle Margolies – Project Manager, CPHC, LEED AP Homes
Michelle joined New Ecology in 2021, and serves as a Project Manager, where she is responsible for green building decarbonization projects. Michelle guides clients from pre-design through construction in earning green certifications and utility incentives through drawing reviews, trainings, and site visits. She coordinates with project teams to practically and cost-effectively improve the performance, health, and durability of buildings that are being newly constructed or renovated. Michelle has worked on numerous LEED, Enterprise Green Communities, Energy Star, and Passive House Projects. Prior to joining New Ecology, she worked in energy engineering, responsible for carrying out energy simulations and research to validate climate specific concepts to reduce building related emissions. Michelle holds a B.A. in Architecture and B.S. in Conservation and Resource Studies from UC Berkeley, as well as LEED AP and CPHC credentials.
