Eduardo Ramos – Senior Energy Engineer
Eduardo joined New Ecology in February 2018 as an Intern in our Boston office. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering from the National University of Engineering, Peru. As an intern, he assisted in managing the LEAN portfolio and performing energy audits, and implementing energy conservation measures in Low Income Multifamily Buildings. Between Fall-2018 and Spring-2019, Eduardo spent a year completing a Master’s degree in Sustainable Building Systems from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. This experience enriched his knowledge and passion for high-performance buildings and environmental conservation. In October 2019, Eduardo was promoted to the role of Energy Engineer, working in energy saving calculations, performing energy audits, and implementing energy conservation measures in multifamily buildings. He now serves as a Senior Energy Engineer. Before joining New Ecology, Inc., Eduardo served as Building Performance Analyst in Peru, providing energy modeling support as needed with EnergyPlus, and DesignBuilder during the design and construction process of high-performance residential buildings for low-income families in South America.
Outside of work, Eduardo enjoys spending time outside playing soccer, volleyball, and afternoon walks. He also enjoys playing video games and guitar when the time is right.
