Theo Brossman – Senior Project Manager
Theo joined New Ecology in 2019 in order to provide project management and energy analysis services for the Remote Monitoring & Optimization program with the intent of optimizing existing mechanical equipment for efficient operation. He now serves as a Senior Project Manager with the Building Decarbonization division facilitating energy audits for buildings, benchmarking operational energy consumption and long-term planning for housing portfolios, and coordinating grant resources. Prior to joining New Ecology, he worked as an architectural designer to develop and implement novel building methodologies to reduce operational and embodied energy, optimize passive heating and cooling, and increase resiliency to storm water conditions. He also spent several years operating a small, non-profit human services company for individuals with disabilities in Maine. Theo earned a Bachelor’s of Architecture and Building Science from Hampshire College as well as a Master’s of City Planning from Boston University, during which he worked on spatial-statistical and machine learning analyses of building energy consumption patterns at the level of states and municipalities.
