Eduardo Ramos - Senior Energy Engineer
Eduardo joined New Ecology in 2018, and now serves as a Senior Energy Engineer, where he oversees the decarbonization evaluation and planning for multifamily buildings. He does this by performing energy audits, calculating savings, assessing new technologies, and identifying funding sources. As a member of the engineering team, he has been developing the tools and processes needed to evaluate the energy, water, and financial effects of the energy-saving measure. Prior to joining New Ecology, he served as a Building Performance Analyst, supporting the design of high-performance single-family homes for low-income families in South America through energy modeling. He earned a master's degree in environmental conservation with a concentration in sustainable building systems from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering from the National University of Engineering, Peru. He holds certifications from RESNET as a HERS rater and BPI as a certified Building Analyst. Outside of work, Eduardo enjoys spending time outside playing soccer, volleyball, and afternoon walks. He also enjoys playing video games and guitar when the time is right.
