Justin joined New Ecology’s Baltimore office in 2019 and serves as Senior Energy Engineer for the mid-Atlantic. He collaborates with designers, contractors and property owners to instill high performance strategies in varied projects. His focus is on decarbonizing existing building stock and is exemplified by the Carrington Way Apartments retrofit which resulted in a 57% measured site energy reduction thanks to electrification of gas heating systems. Justin also led New Ecology’s commissioning efforts on T.C. Martin Elementary School which opened in 2024 and features a 250 vertical well ground source heat exchanger. He holds LEED AP BD+C accreditation and is a certified BPI Multifamily Building Analyst.
