Nate joined New Ecology in 2021. His professional experience encompasses a wide range of experience within the energy sector. At New Ecology, Nate provides technical support for the green building team by assisting with various tasks including: building auditing, data analysis and energy modeling. Furthermore, providing technical assistance for multi-family affordable housing renovations while performing existing condition verification, analysis, and diagnostic testing with goals to generate project specific energy and sustainability measures. Prior to New Ecology, Nate was a HERS Rater certifying single family homes and overseeing all related energy modeling tasks. Other prior work include: renewable energy with a focus on Solar PV and HW, ASHRAE auditing, residential energy assessments, commercial HVAC energy efficiency, demand response and analysis of large meter data files. Nate holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Technical Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University.
