Neil Donnelly - Senior Energy Engineer
P.E., CEM, CWEP
Neil joined New Ecology in 2013. At New Ecology, he works in the field performing audits, designing building efficiency tests, and troubleshooting buildings that are underperforming. He is also responsible for developing energy efficiency project proposals, designing and sizing mechanical systems, and analyzing and presenting the results of specialty testing to size systems according to measured loads. Neil culminated his undergrad work with the development of high-speed machinery retrofits to run additional product lines and eliminate the need for added machinery. Throughout his education he has focused on issues of energy production, use and policy. In Australia in the summer of 2011, he learned from leading researchers at the University of New South Wales about their work in energy efficiency in buildings and industry. In his spare time the outdoors are the priority, whether it’s sailing, backpacking or spending time with his family.
