Paul Eddowes - Director of Green Building Services

Paul joined New Ecology in 2015, and serves as a Director of Green Building Services, where he manages projects in the Massachusetts Green Building Department. Paul has extensive experience on projects from early design to post construction and helping them achieve green building certification, code and zoning requirements. Prior to joining New Ecology, Paul worked as a Home Energy Advisor at Next Step Living, where he conducted over 1,300 Mass Save energy audits in residential homes around the Greater Boston area. He has extensive experience in making efficiency upgrade recommendations to building owners and helping them access rebates available through the Mass Save program. Paul has also worked for Earthwatch Institute as a Research Officer on the HSBC Climate Partnership. In this role he ran volunteer research teams collecting data to observe the impacts of climate change on woodland ecosystems at Wytham Woods, Oxford, UK. Paul holds a MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Exeter, UK and a BSc in Biology from the University of Sheffield, UK.
